This delicious coffee shop and bakery is right around the corner from the metro stop in Crystal City and surrounded by other shops. The space is open, clean and full of light. The menu is a delight and full of lots of yummy sounding options from breakfast to lunch. The pastries were very good, we ordered several, and it’s no wonder there are multiple locations of this bakery. It was a pleasant find and experience!

I can tell that this bakery really uses quality ingredients and takes its time to ensure everything is fresh, well-flavored, and held to high standards overall. First, the black sesame latte was so good—highly recommend. The brownie was delicious; it’s more on the fudgy side, so if you like a fudgy brownie, I definitely recommend it as well. The hamantashen was very good. The only thing I would say is that, if I’m not mistaken, there are Middle Eastern–inspired flavors, so if you’re not used to those, you might be a little thrown off by some of the tastes or the extra accents in their dishes. But overall, it’s a very, very good bakery. I love a bakery that takes its time to deliver quality, and I could tell that’s exactly what they do. Even though a few items caught me off guard because I’m not used to those particular spices, everything was still worth giving this place five stars.

I've been here a bunch of times, and I keep coming back because it's just that good! The pastries and food are super tasty, and the coffee? So good! I had the overnight oats and nut box! The service is always laid-back and friendly. The last time I went, I ordered the nut box and the overnight oats. Great place!

It's an upscale bakery with really good pastries and coffee. They have a good combination of tradional coffees with seasonal specials. There is plenty of seating inside and the service is pretty quick in the morning. One of the servers met us at the door, handed us menus, and explained how the cafe worked since it was our first time there which was very kind and helpful. The only thing that was unclear was if we were supposed to clear our table or if they would, but they pointed us to the self-bussing station and we were good to go.

Tatte Bakery & Cafe in National Landing, located at the corner of 18th Street S and Crystal Dr., feels more intimate than other Tatte locations in the DMV. Nonetheless, its atmosphere remains consistent—clean, trendy, with high ceilings, white walls, plants, light fixtures, and a diverse menu featuring quality baked goods. The cafe offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The coffee is consistently excellent, and the pastries are similarly delightful, complemented by offerings like breakfast sandwiches, soups, and gluten-free options to suit various dietary needs. We enjoyed an iced vanilla latte with a sour cherry cheese danish and a pistachio cherry tart, all of which hit the spot for satisfying our dessert cravings after a nearby meal.

Over multiple visits, I think the bakery side is outstanding for an early-ish morning treats. Lots of options, though the almond and pistachio crossoints are better than the regular which I would describe as lacking flaky butter goodness. Their lunch offerings are descent.. Had traditional shakshuka, that came out in the actual pan it was cooked in. Kind of expected a cast iron skillet because the actual kitchen pan made the présentation look hasty and no effort. Tasted ok, the tomato sauce was rather watery. They were busy during lunch hour so available seating was prime. We had to wipe down our own table and seats as it appears the space may have been occupied by monkeys throwing food. Service was really good considering it was a casual Cafe.

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who helped me today. Even though everything was crazy and last minute, your team still made it happen. I don’t know everyone’s names, but I mainly communicated with Zach and I believe the GM this morning. Thank you so, so much for making the order happen on such short notice. I truly appreciate the great service and the effort your team put in. Mariam
